CANDI BUNCHES

quite literally just my baafro redux but with some cute pigtails stuck onto the sides! created for my baby candi, when she was a model in our milk's next top model event.

BRAIDED TRESSES + BRAIDED BUNS

a braided version of my princess tresses! i made the first version of this for the ramen noodle themed baby in the food truck hexing program heather and i ran, then later i recreated the "noodles" to look more loc-like instead of noodle-like lmao. for the top i attempted some cool braided buns. i really love how the whole thing turned out ;~;

BUNNY EAR BUNCHES

some cute pigtails i made for the melody half of the my melody/kuromi twins kayla and i collabed on for milkmas 25. i wanted to make them sort of resemble my melody's ears (lower version). both pigtails also look very cute as side ponies!

DOUBLE DUTCH

a spunky pair of addball french/dutch braids inspired by my own hair in real life and also a very cute new hairstyle in the sims 4.

PRINCESS TRESSES 2025

an updated version of my original princess tresses hairstyle remade with mostly bmps! the original style is one of my favorites ever but it is so linezy it was hard for babyz with it to wear a lot of clothes at once. this updated version fixes that problem! shown above with original swoop bang and new strandy bmp bangs.

MESSY SPACEBUNS

i wanted to make a simple hairstyle for my base/model baby to wear since i use her to model my clothing sets sometimes. i've also been wanting to make a proper spacebun bmp hairstyle so this knocked out both in one!

TRIXI TAILS

cute curly pigtails made specifically for trixibelle, the fairy gym leader from our 2025 summer pokemon cruise. trixibelle is a spoiled brat who loves pink fairy pokemon, tea parties and ruffly dresses so i thought the innocent-looking, perfectly bouncy pigtails would complement her personality well.

LIZZIE BOB

a 2000's-themed hairstyle created for a commission. the request mentioned lizzie mcguire so i took a lot of inspiration from the fun and wacky, super 90's/00's hairstyles they wore on the show. the style has a few pieces that can be mixed and matched (or added to other styles) including a zigzag part, two mini braids in the front and some fun spiky buns. i think this style would also look great with my regular buns on top!

PETAL PIGGIES

low pigtails inspired by a glow-up/modernization i did of an old-school baby from hexies galore for a challenge during the new year's eve party! i tried to create a hairstyle that could be a modern interpretation of the old school hairstyle the original baby had.

MOCHA BUN (V1 and V2)

a little mashup of my strands and bun inspired by a photo me and heather saw of her baby millie where you couldn't see her ponytail. upon seeing it we realized how cute of a boy style it would be and decided to try it for an advent baby. it looked a little empty on top so i plopped a bun on it as well to make a cute "man bun" sort of look. later on i wanted to make a center bun version so i drew a new bun and also shaved the sides.

BAAFRO REDUX

a total remake of my baafro hairstyle from 2012! the original baafro (now on my retired styles page) was one of the first hairstyles i ever used bmp pieces on, but we didn't have the techniques we do today so it was a lot messier and unnecessarily complicated than it needed to be. i really wanted to remake it from scratch with the bmp skills i have now and i am so pleased with how it turned out!

i chopped whimsy waves v1 into a bob and thought it looked cute!

WHIMSY WAVES

this hairstyle is based on my sim, cadi, who wears her hair long with one side falling in front and the other side falling behind her back. i thought this could be a really cute babyz hairstyle, especially since i'd never tried a long, hair down sort of style out of bmps before! i ended up liking the bmps placed in a couple different ways, so it has two versions: one with strands in the baby's face, and one with the left strand tucked behind their ear.

VANELLOPE PONY

a recreation of vanellope's hairstyle from wreck-it-ralph, hexed for my vanellope baby sugar rush.

INSTAGRAM BRAIDS

this style is called instagram braids because i used my instagram half-up style technique as inspiration for a way to glow-up my older french braid style, tidy heidi. i really wanted to make french braids that really LOOKED like they were braided from the top down, and i wanted to make them chunkier and cleaner also. i am really happy with how this one turned out!

INSTAGRAM HALF-UP

i hexed this style because i wanted something new to give out for milkmas gifts! i have been wanting to hex a style like this for ages because i wear my hair like this all the time. it is named instagram half-up cause i always see girls on instagram reels with their hair like this too!

SPIRIT STRANDS

this hairstyle was hexed for a ghost baby, so i wanted something that felt really floaty and ghosty. this was my first full bmp hairstyle in about four years and i ended up really loving it.

BRAIDED PUFFS

the bc is really lacking in hairstyles for darker skinned babyz so i wanted to try my hand at some cute afro puffs! they are slightly modeled after the ones in animal crossing plus a million real life reference photos haha. my favorite thing to do with them is stick stuff in them for decoration cause they look so cute that way!

KITTEN CUT

so there was another first iteration of this hairstyle made in march 2019 which you can see here, but unfortunately i lost it along with the first version of my kitten baby, arthur, in my hard drive crash (i normally back things up religiously but he was hexed so recently before the crash that his file was one of the only things i didn't get a chance to back up ;~;). when i finally got a new hard drive about six months later, the first babyz-related thing i did was attempt to rehex him! i sadly couldn't quite get the hairstyle to look exactly the same but i think i came close and i like this version too!

LITTLE LION'S TAIL(S)

i hexed this at the same time as little lion's mane but wasn't totally happy with it until later in the year. this was originally the hairstyle that lion's mane started out as but after a lot of experimenting i ended up chopping the tails for that one and breaking the styles up into two different versions. i love how this one came out!

LITTLE LION'S MANE

after a long break from baby hexing and hairstyle creating, i decided to finally work on my own attempt at the new school bmp-based hairstyles that have become popular. it started out as something completely different but ended up being shortened and reworked into what you see here!

BOTANICAL BRAIDS

i based this hairstyle (and the baby wearing it) on this gorgeous drawing i found by one of my now favorite artists, geneva benton (gdbee). it was my first time ever trying something like this (i'm pretty sure i didn't even have a cornrow style back in the day cause i was too lazy to do all those addballs rofl) so it was a little bit out of my comfort zone but i'm so glad i tried it! it was definitely a challenge to make it look both modern and realistic but i think i managed? :3

TULIPTAILS

the idea for this style literally just came to me while i was looking at the non-ponytailed side of my tied-up tresses style. i realized that the shape of it made a perfect little base to stick some pigtails onto, and a few hours later, the tuliptails were born!

SALTWATER STRANDS (LILO HAIR)

hexed during disney week at milk to resemble lilo from lilo and stitch. i was inspired to hex lilo's hair because there are way fewer straight hairstyles in the BC than curly and i wanted to challenge myself to hex something different than what i normally make! since then i have experimented with several different bangs/front strands for it as shown above.

HOT FUDGE SUNDAE

a bigger version of my single scoop bun with a pretty braid wrapped around it!

LOVELY LOCKS

this hairstyle was partially based on a drawn hairstyle request made at milk, but based more on my own drawing of a cute idea for long, flowing hair that wouldn't be too linez-heavy! in my head i also call them "waterfall locks" because of how flowy they are.

DAPPER DANDY

my second boy style ever and i'm still so proud of it! i drew it beforehand based on a picture i found. the picture i was copying looks quite liam hemsworth-y while the end result i think came out more one direction-y. i really like it though!

SOFTSERVE CURLS

so the idea of this hairstyle is like an over-one-shoulder, flowing lock of hair wrapping around itself gracefully. i'm not sure the idea translated to babyz that well but i like how it came out nonetheless! this was another style that i drew before i hexed it, and it was also originally based on a subeta hairstyle. softserve curls looks best with a crown of some sort (or hexed hair accessories) since it's hexed to be quite plain on top for that reason.

POPSTAR PIGTAILS

the hairstyle that got me out of a phase of extreme hexing unmotivation-- i didn't cut corners with it anywhere and was really proud of it. based on a subeta hairstyle as well as being a semi-tribute to the "pushed back pigtails" of the pre-linez bc era, which was one of my absolute favorite styles back then.
